Contract terms
The full Robomaa.fi terms and conditions of contract, order, delivery and warranty. Robomaa.fi (hereinafter referred to as Robomaa) is a marketplace operated by Robomaa.com Oy, where the seller of the products is Robomaa.com Oy, Hämeenlinna, business ID: FI23787037. The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions between Robomaa and its customers. Robomaa sells electronics products, accessories and software to adult individuals, companies, communities, educational institutions and cities.
Detailed terms and conditions:
1. Orders
1.1 When placing an order, the customer must always indicate
a) as a consumer, name, address, e-mail address, postal address and telephone number(s).
b) as a business customer, the name, contact person, e-mail address, postal address, business ID and telephone number(s) of the company.
1.2 For each order, the Customer agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of the contract, order and delivery terms and conditions applicable to deliveries in force from time to time. The current contractual terms and conditions are available on the robomaa.fi website.
1.3 Robomaa.fi's customer register is confidential and Robomaa.fi undertakes not to disclose any information to any party other than the parties mentioned in this Agreement.
1.4 Communication between the parties shall be by e-mail or telephone.
1.5 After placing an order, Robomaa will automatically inform the customer by e-mail of the progress of the order.
1.6 A binding sales contract will enter into force once the customer has placed the order. The system automatically confirms the order by e-mail.
1.7 We reserve the right to limit the sale of products in larger batches - e.g. due to unavailability.
1.8 We reserve the right to cancel an order when the product ordered is a discontinued product or when the product is no longer available.
1.9 Robomaa's liability for product unavailability, regulatory or import restrictions is always limited to the cancellation of the transaction and refund of any monies paid in advance.
1.10 All products sold on Robomaa are sold "as is". Please refer carefully to the product description on our website or the contents of the package in the store.
1.11 If the customer does not agree with the contents of the product package, he/she must return the product to Robomaa within the 14-day return period.
1.12 In cases of obvious product or price errors, Robomaa may claim an error, for example if the error was so obvious that the customer should have realised the existence of the error.
1.13 Robomaa is not responsible for the information on manufacturers' websites.
1.14 Robomaa does not sell goods to resellers. Robomaa reserves the right to select its customers.
2. Prices
2.1 Prices in the price list include VAT, but exclude transport.
2.2 For some products or when the total amount of the order exceeds a certain amount, free or reduced delivery is possible. This discount is automatically taken into account in the shopping basket. However, COD costs will always be added separately to the total costs.
2.3 The shopping basket will always indicate the delivery costs after you have selected the delivery method.
2.4 We sell ordered products at the price at the time of ordering. However, in the event of changes to the order, the price of the product will be determined by the current price.
2.5 Product details for all products are displayed on our website. Returns in case of errors in product information are free of charge and must be made within reasonable time after the error has been or should have been discovered by the customer.
2.6 In clear cases of price error, Robomaa may claim error, for example if the error was so obvious that the customer should have realised the existence of the error. For example, if a €400 product is sold for €40 due to a mistake.
3. Delivery
3.1 Robomaa delivers its products to its customers with an average processing time of 2-4 working days. This is in addition to the normal delivery time of the product, e.g. the Postal Service usually delivers parcels in 1-4 days. We will endeavour to inform you if the product takes more than 7 days to arrive. Some special order or novelty products have a longer delivery time.
3.2 The consumer has the right to cancel the order at any time, including when the order has already been processed. If the consumer does not wish to collect or collect his order from the post office, it is recommended that he nevertheless informs Robomaa or the local post office. It is recommended that cancellations are made via the web using the customer's order management system.
3.3 During the transport of the goods from Robomaa to the customer, Robomaa is liable in case the goods are damaged or lost during transport. During the transport of goods from the customer to Robomaa, the customer or Posti Group Oyj is liable if the goods are damaged or lost during transport.
3.4 If you send goods to us, e.g. for warranty service or as a product return, remember to keep the return documents and a copy of the postal receipt/ tracking number.
3.5 The unavailability of one product does not oblige Robomata to reserve other products in the same order. We require that products immediately available in the order must be able to be delivered to the consumer no later than three weeks after the order is placed and the consumer must agree to a subsequent delivery of the unavailable product or cancellation of the product order. The postage costs of re-delivery will be charged at the normal rate.
4. Terms of payment
4.1 Robomaa orders are paid by postal order, online payment, invoice (as a rule, only companies, associations, educational institutions, cities) or Paypal. Robomaa reserves the right to change the methods of payment.
4.2 Invoice payment terms are prepayment and, for contracted customers, 14/21/30 days net.
5. Returns
5.1 The private customer (does not apply to business or community customers) has a 14-day right of return and exchange from the time of collection of the parcel or collection order (including weekends and public holidays, excluding the day of collection). The product must be returned or exchanged no later than the working day following the 14th day, i.e. if the 14th day is, for example, a Saturday, the product must be posted or delivered no later than Monday.
5.2 The right of return for mail order sales applies only to unused and saleable products. During the return period, the consumer has the right to inspect and try on the product in the same way as he would do if he bought it in a shop. The consumer can also open the packaging to examine and try on the goods without losing the right of withdrawal. However, he cannot put the goods into service. For example, soldering wires to a printed circuit board is considered as putting the goods into use. Opening the packaging must be done carefully and without damaging the sales packaging.
5.3 Depending on the product, returns are free of charge or chargeable to the consumer and are always agreed separately with the customer.
5.4 The date of purchase or collection shall be the date on which the package is redeemed or collected from the post office or, alternatively, the date of the receipt. It is the Customer's responsibility to prove the date on which the parcel was collected from the post office, for example by means of a postal receipt.
5.5 If, in exceptional cases, we accept the return of an unsaleable, defective or out-of-date product, we will charge our own costs, but at least 25% of the price of the product.
5.6 Product returns always:
a) In the original packaging (well packed) without any unnecessary markings
b) Including a copy of the receipt/shipping note.
c) Include a completed warranty and return form (comes with the shipment).
d) No later than 14 days from the date of purchase.
5.7 Returns will be made as a Post Office customer return. We will not redeem any unpaid, credit parcel shipments (returns or warranty repairs) or any shipments through Matkahuolto or any other supplier.
5.8 When you send us something, remember to cushion the package well, pack the item antistatically if necessary, and send it unbreakable if necessary. We recommend at least 10 cm of padding around the product, for hard drives or other breakables at least 15 cm. By using the original packaging and padding when returning the product, you will ensure that it arrives intact. We will not accept a return if the consumer has completely failed to follow the packaging tips on the return form (e.g. sent a breakable hard drive in a letter or a monitor without any padding). The seller, Robomaa, is responsible for any breakage caused by the postal service.
5.9 For unauthorised returns, we will charge the customer according to the current price list. The search for a defective product/part in a partial package is a separate service subject to a fee. We will also charge for costs not covered by the third party warranty, including repair estimates.
5.10 Products returned faulty or sent for warranty service (see instructions above) will be sent back at the customer's expense.
5.11 The right to return a product is always product specific and any delay in delivery of one product does not entitle the customer to a longer return period for the other product.
5.12 Customized or SPECIAL ORDER products are not returnable.
6. Warranty
6.1 Some products have a warranty, for these products the length of the warranty is indicated in the product information. The warranty is an additional commitment voluntarily given by the seller or previous sales force. The guarantor is responsible for ensuring that the product will function for the specified period.
6.2 Robomaa is only responsible for its own warranty and we always disclaim any longer warranty periods given by the manufacturer.
6.3 The warranty period starts from the date on the receipt or invoice and lasts for the period specified on the receipt in months. Replacement or repair of the Product under warranty does not extend the original warranty period of the Product.
6.4 If the manufacturer, importer or authorised service provider of the Product offers a warranty for the Product, Robomaa's obligation to provide a warranty for the Product shall always be limited to the general provisions on defects in Chapter 5 of the Consumer Protection Act. A list of the providers of warranty and technical support for the products can be found on the receipt, invoice, price list or return form.
6.5 All warranty returns will be tested first and executed on hold or as express warranty only for an additional charge. The warranty is conditional upon the computer or part being used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions. Robomaa may be released from warranty liability if we determine that it is likely that the deterioration or breakage of the product is due to accident, misuse of the goods or other circumstances on the part of the purchaser. Likewise, if it is later discovered, for example by the manufacturer or a service company, that the product has broken due to the customer's negligence, we are entitled to charge the costs of repair.
6.6 The warranty does not cover damage to equipment caused by software, viruses or power failures, damage caused by improper storage or failure to clean the product, lightning damage, misuse of the product or other failure to follow instructions, including installation errors or physical product failure on the customer's behalf. Only accessories or components approved by the manufacturer may be used with the products.
6.7. The product must always be used in an earthed socket. We also recommend lightning protection for both the electrical and telephone boxes. Opening the product will always void the warranty.
6.8 If the product is damaged due to any of the circumstances mentioned in 6.5, 6.6 or 6.7, the product will be returned to the customer and the customer will be charged the handling fee and delivery charges applicable at the time.
6.9 In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, the Buyer shall notify the Guarantor of the defect within a reasonable time after the Buyer discovered or should have discovered the defect.
6.10 We will not redeem any unpaid, postage-paid or credit parcel shipments (returns or warranty repairs) or any shipments through Matkahuolto. Returns or returns on guarantees must be made as a Post Office customer return.
6.11 Products under warranty at all times:
a) In the original packaging (well packed).
b) Include a copy of the receipt, delivery note or invoice.
c) A completed warranty return form (comes with the shipment or can be found on the web).
d) Send only the defective product for warranty repair, no other products, no manuals, no cables.
e) Data backed up (e.g. contents of the microchip eeprom).
6.12 If you are unsure whether Robomaa will take care of the warranty of your product, we recommend that you contact us before returning anything. Some products are repaired under warranty directly by the importer or official service agent.

6.14 For unauthorised returns or warranty repairs, we will charge the customer according to the current price list. A return or warranty repair is deemed to be unjustified if, for example, the product is intact, not covered by the warranty or return period, or the definition of a return/warranty repair is otherwise not met (see sections 6.1 to 6.16). The search for a defective product/part in a partial package is a separate chargeable service. We will also charge for any third party costs not covered by the warranty, including repair estimates.
6.15 Products sent for warranty service (see instructions above) will be returned at the customer's expense.
6.16 We will not take care of the warranty repair of any product while it is pending, but the product will be repaired within a reasonable period of time as defined by the Consumer Protection Act. In the event of a delay in the warranty service, we will endeavour to arrange a loan product free of charge to the customer.
6.17 In the event of a warranty replacement, we are not responsible for the retention of the information contained within the product. By default, all information contained within the product will be destroyed, e.g. the contents of the microchip eeprom.
